Ian Warner is the founder of Urban Theologians. Ian currently lives in Kansas City, MO, with his wife and four kids. He is the lead pastor of One Kingdom Church in Kansas City, Missouri. 

Ian was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, and came to the USA on a track scholarship to Iowa State University. At Iowa State, he was an All-American and represented Canada at the 2012 Olympic Games

He led a college ministry in Des Moines, IA, as a part of the Salt Network and was formerly the Community Pastor at Cottage Grove Church. Ian is married with four young children. 

Ian developed a heart for urban ministry growing up in one of the world’s most diverse cities. He grew up playing sports with people from very diverse backgrounds, and it taught him to see the image of God in all people.
